5. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF April 25, 2018

6. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY

7. ASSESSOR – Roll Correction Refund (Roger Hartman)
County tax roll correction resulting in a refund to R39818 for the 2016 tax year. Total refund amount with interest: $33,401.71.

8. ASSESSOR – Roll Correction Refund (Roger Hartman)
County tax roll correction resulting in a refund to R39818 for the 2017 tax year. Total refund amount with interest: $27,728.77.

9. BUILDING DEPARTMENT – Intergovernmental Agreement (Bill Clemens)
Intergovernmental Agreement between Douglas County and Benton County for Electrical, Plumbing and Building Inspections and Plan Review Services.

10. BUILDING FACILITIES – Agreement (Janet Coleman)
Agreement between Douglas County and McKinstry Co, LLC. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide cooling and boiler equipment service and maintenance.

11. BUILDING FACILITIES / LAND – Lease Extension (Janet Coleman)
First Extension of Lease No. 30489 between Douglas County and Rex Morningstar for the building and its grounds located at 222 Gilbert Ave., Glendale, OR.

12. BUILDING FACILITIES / LAND – Lease Amendment (Janet Coleman)
Amendment #3 for Lease between Douglas County, (Lessor) and Oregon State University for its Douglas County Extension Service, located at 1134 SE Douglas Ave, Roseburg, OR 97470. Amendment adjusts rent amount for improvements to the premises.

13. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Extension of Use Agreement (Sean Fallon)
First Extension of Facility Use Agreement with BLM at the Tiller Communications Site allowing BLM to temporarily install, access and operate a solar powered Remote Automated Weather Station (RAWS). The RAWS will be used as an early warning tool for the protection of life and property along Stouts Creek. Agreement extended to September 30, 2020.

14. PUBLIC WORKS – Solid Waste Department – Contract Extension (Scott Adams)
Second Extension of Contract No. 29797 with St. Vincent De Paul Society of Lane County, Inc. Contractor shall provide one van trailer each at the Roseburg and Reedsport Transfer Stations for collection of used mattresses and box springs. Extends Contract to February 28, 2019.

Speakers will be limited to three minutes with a total of 30 minutes allocated for this portion of the meeting.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held May 16th, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.


CONVENE AS THE GOVERNING BODY FOR THE DOUGLAS COUNTY 4-H, MASTER GARDENER AND EXTENSION SERVICE DISTRICT.

1. Appointment of Budget Committee Members (John Punches)
Tom Nelson has agreed to serve a second term, ending June 30, 2020. Mike Winters resigned from the Budget Committee and Katharine Jones has agreed to complete that term, ending June 30, 2019.

 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. Note: Department Head Work sessions are not recorded A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department.
