7. BUILDING FACILITIES – Contract Modification (Janet Coleman)
First Modification of Contract #31559 between Douglas County and Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP. Modification adds a Rider to the Installation Agreement. All other terms remain unchanged.

8. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Agreement Modification (Sean Fallon)
First Extension and Modification of Facility Use Agreement between Douglas County and Douglas Forest Protective Agency (DFPA) for use of facility at Watson Ridge for operation and maintenance of DFPA’s radio repeater for internal radio communications. Extension shall be for a five-year term beginning on November 6, 2018 and ending on November 5, 2023.

9. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Order Authorizing Purchase (Sean Fallon)
Order authorizing purchase of Dell computers and laptops under Dell quote 3000035402140.1 in the amount of $59,085.33. Purchase of replacements are budgeted and paid for by the receiving departments.

10. MUSEUM – Requesting Permission to Apply for Grant (James Davis)
Requesting Board permission to apply for Museum Heritage Grant.

11. PLANNING – Planning Commission Appointments (Joshua Shaklee)
Three vacancies exist on the Planning Commission due to the resignations of George Seonbuchner, Mark Brosi and Carl Sweeden. An open recruitment was done and based on occupational diversity, geographic area, differing interests and related experience, the Planning Commission recommends Daniel Burke to serve as a North County Representative, Jess Miller to serve as a Sutherlin area representative and Christine Goodwin to serve as a Myrtle Creek representative. All terms will expire February 28, 2023.

12. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract Signing (Scott Adams)
Contract #31599 between Douglas County and Babb Construction Company, dba Delta Construction Company, for the Frozen Creek Culvert Replacement Project on North Myrtle Road, MP 6.47. Bids received for Project #10981 were opened on March 13, 2019. Babb Construction Company, dba Delta Construction Company, was the lowest responsive bidder. Contract amount: $662,530.84.

13. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract Signing (Scott Adams)
Contract #31596 between Douglas County and Guido Construction, Inc. for curve sign improvements on various roads throughout Douglas County. Bids received for Project #11014 were opened on March 13, 2019. Guido Construction, Inc. was lowest responsive bidder. Contract amount: $214,318.00.

14. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Authorizing Purchase (Scott Adams)
Order Authorizing Purchase of one (1) 2019 EZ-Liner Industries model TS-AL700 paint striper from EZ-Liner, Orange City, IA. Item to be purchased under the Sourcewell Contract #052417-EZL. Purchase price: $491,213.00.

17. ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held April 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
