2) BJORN VIAN, request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the mining and processing of aggregate on a 73± acre portion of a 279.56 acre property located on the north side of the North Umpqua Hwy (State Highway 138E) and adjacent to the Glide Urban Unincorporated Area (UUA) between Glide and Idleyld Park. No crushing of aggregate is proposed with this request. The entire property is described as Tax Lots 100 and 101 in Section 9, and Tax Lots 100 and 101 in Section 10, all of T26S, R3W, W.M.; Property ID Nos. R34216, R34168, R34208 (Sec. 9), R34632, R34672, R34704 and R143469 (Sec. 10). The portion of the property located outside the Glide UUA is designated (AGG) Agriculture and (FFT) Farm Forest Transitional by the Comprehensive Plan and zoned (FG) Exclusive Farm Use – Grazing and (FF) Farm Forest, while the portion within the Glide UUA is designated (CT) Tourist Commercial and zoned (CT) Tourist Commercial.
