Certified copies of Birth and Death certificates are only available from the Douglas County Clerk’s Office from the date of the birth or death until the day before the event turns six (6) months. (When the date from the birth or death reaches six (6) months, we have no access into the State’s system to generate the birth or death certificate.) If ordering a birth or death certificate within the first six months from the date of the birth or death, please download a Douglas County application/order form from one of the following links:
